Promotion of July 2010 What would you expect to see with a telescope? Craters of the Moon, Saturn’s and Jupiter’s cloud bands and its Galilean moons? It’s absolutely possible. However, there is doubt over the image size of viewing objects – how big are they? Would it be as big as a ten cent coin or as small as a 1 cent coin? Before get these questions answered, we must understand the relative size and distance of the viewing objects. Although we could use eyepieces or barlow lens to magnify the distant objects, there is a general rule that we need to understand – the brightness, apparent size and type of the stars. Why does microscope only need a small lens aperture but with high magnification? In order to get a high-powered view, with a correct eyepiece we could shine lights on the object with a very close distance less than ½ inch. For stars at hundred or thousand light years away, we are too far to receive the distant star lights if the telescope “eye” is not large enough. To make it simpler, aperture of a telescope is the first criteria to determine. However, I would suggest our user to take the main application and purpose into consideration : for land or sky, in day or night. The most important point I believe is the mindset and character of the user that would reflect in their purchase behavior. Let me share with you what we are going to offer in July of 2010. 1.
